Did you know that the Beervlei dam in Eastern Cape, South Africa acts as a flood absorption dam with a capacity of over 85 800 cubic meters!
This dam was build in the 1950's and had been filled for the first time in 20 years in November 2021. The dam water is used to irrigate local and surrounding farms in the Eastern Cape Area.
